Our plan is to keep a TA05, a Mini and a few TT01 kits in stock at all times.    We WILL special order any Tamiya car that is still available.  I would like to keep more but the boss is a stickler.

2-Belt Driven TA05 Chassis Fresh from its multiple victories at IFMAR, the world champion TRF team has incorporated a huge amount of feedback to bring you Tamiya's newest R/C chassis, the TA05. The key feature of this chassis is the innovative transmission system which employs two equal-length drive belts mounted front and rear, interlocking with tooth surfaced center pulley. This design greatly reduces drive resistance to achieve better transmission efficiency at high speeds. The chassis structure has been redesigned for optimum balance, locating the motor in center-left and battery in center-right position. Center shaft, drive belts and spur gear have also been repositioned for improved balance. Suspension is the same durable and reliable system found on the TA04 chassis. Several features make this chassis wonderfully easy to perform maintenance on, such as the single deck frame and one-piece motor mount. Front and rear bulkheads are identical and feature 2-piece detachable design. New-style mount allows diff to be removed without detaching stabilizers.

Highly Aerodynamic Body The first release on the TA05 chassis is the sleek and stylish Ferrari F430. Mounting a new generation, 4.3 liter V8 engine with 490hp output, the F430 is a truly supercharged road car. Our high quality polycarbonate body accurately captures the F430's impressive style, while incorporating aerodynamic modifications. We've slightly lowered the roof, and added a polycarbonate rear wing, which will help the TA05 gain even better rear traction.

Drive train and battery are loaded flat in the bathtub frame for a low center of gravity, giving you a perfectly balanced chassis boasting excellent handling. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension combines with front and rear diff gear to ensure reliable cornering performance. Overall chassis has been designed for easy assembly and maintenance making it perfect for those new to the world of R/C cars. A full range of option parts are also available (sold separately) allowing you to draw out the full potential of this high performance chassis.
